Tour Details

This shorter, seasonal Broken Arrow Tour features the last 1.5 hours of daylight, one of the best times of day to capture amazing outdoor photos. As the sun descends towards the horizon, shades of light bounce across Sedona's famous sandstone rock formations. They soon begin their fiery glow.

Sedona's most exclusive and thrilling off-road adventure offers an amazing show during this time. Buckle up, get your camera ready and hold on tight! You'll climb over and atop the area's iconic red rocks. Walk on 300-million-year-old slickrock and descend an almost vertical stone staircase—the Road-of-No-Return!

Offered exclusively by Pink Jeep Tours, Broken Arrow is the area’s best rock-crawling experience and America’s first Jeep tour. Pink Jeep is the only off-road outfitter permitted to use this trail. As a bonus, you'll get stunning 360-degree views of Southwest wilderness in brilliant hues not seen at other times of the day.

You'll climb aboard an open-air Pink Jeep Wrangler at the Pink Jeep Plaza in Uptown Sedona. Our vehicles are custom-designed to safely tackle the rugged desert terrain. They take you places that you didn’t know four-wheels could go. Hang on while you climb over rocks bigger than a car!

Your Certified Interpretive Adventure Guide will delve into Sedona’s rich past as you leave town. Once on the trail, you’ll wind through remote areas of Coconino National Forest. Some of Hollywood’s most beloved westerns were filmed here, including Jimmy Stewart’s aptly named “Broken Arrow” (1950).

Majestic views and stunning photos await. Panoramas of towering rock spires and unique geological formations are surrounded by juniper and cypress trees. One-of-a-kind views emerge in every direction with the changing colors of late daylight.

This tour includes a walking stop at either Submarine Rock, Chicken Point or a third panoramic viewpoint chosen by your guide. The aptly named Submarine Rock is one of Sedona's most family-friendly hikes. Its smooth surface resembles a nuclear submarine emerging from an other-worldly ocean.

Natural beauty meets an adventurous spirit at Chicken Point. Here, a small red rock plateau sits atop a scenic pass with views towards Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek. A small rock outcrop with steep drops on all sides sits out at the point of the plateau. If you stop here, ask your guide the story behind its name...(hint, it has nothing to do with chickens).

The tour finale is a nearly vertical descent down a natural staircase of rock, ruts and roots! This one-way “Road of No Return” will leave you craving for more 4x4 adventures. Then, enjoy the ride back to the Pink Jeep Plaza under the evening glow of twilight.
