On the Grand Canyon Express Tour, you’ll get to see the most impactful viewpoints in the shortest amount of time, and without the hassles of driving and parking yourself.

Start your day at the Pink Adventure Tours Plaza in Sedona. Your Certified Interpretive Guide will help you board a customized Ford Transit van. Enjoy views of the Arizona high country as you head north. Keep an eye out for Slide Rock State Park in Oak Creek Canyon. Approximately halfway to the park, you’ll pass through Flagstaff, AZ on historic Route 66. Miles of Ponderosa pines line the rest of your journey to Grand Canyon National Park.

Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon South Rim, Mather Point will unveil your first view of the canyon’s vast grandeur. On a clear day, you can see 30+ miles to the east,  60+ miles to the west and 10 miles across its deep gorge below to the North Rim. No wonder it's the most popular viewpoint at the Canyon's South Rim! Your guide will share facts and legends about how the canyon was formed and add insights into each magnificent vista and historic structure.

At Grand Canyon Village you'll have time to explore famous architecture, learn about the development of the Canyon and have lunch on your own. The historic El Tovar Hotel sits directly on the rim of the Grand Canyon and is considered the crown jewel of National Park Lodges. Opened in 1905, it was designed to be a cross between a Swiss Chalet and Norwegian Villa to appeal to elite travelers of the era.

The nearby Bright Angel Lodge, designed in 1935 by by Mary E.J. Coulter, is a Registered National Historic Landmark. Visit the History Room to see the "geological" fireplace that includes all the rock layers of the Grand Canyon. Peer over Bright Angel trailhead, which leads hikers down to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon.
